Akon hopes to reunite with Shah Rukh Khan for Chammak Challo 2.0

In an exclusive interview with Hindustan Times, Akon reflected on his relationship with Bollywood, saying, "Bollywood has always been very close to my heart, and if an opportunity to work on Chammak Challo 2.0 presents itself, I would love to grab it." When asked about his return to Bollywood, Akon admitted that he had taken a brief hiatus from music but had closely followed the Indian music scene during that time. “I miss Bollywood. There is a lot of Bollywood work that will happen in 2025,” he revealed, hinting at an upcoming project. He described India as his "second home" and mentioned that he tries to visit the country every year. Last year, he performed in Pune, and he continues to be enamored by the country's vibrant culture and spiritual energy.
